Charles L. Randle, 87 of Litchfield, passed away Friday afternoon, November 1, 2019, at Heritage Health Care in Litchfield, IL.
Charles was born March 14, 1932, in near Walshville, Illinois, the eleventh of twelve children of Louis Ray and Margaret Mae (Hicks) Randle.
He married Frances Jane White on October 31, 1953 in Greenville, Illinois.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Paula Kuhl. son-in-law Rev. Ed Diveley, granddaughter, Madeline Randle, seven sisters; Pauline Faulkner, Lorene Lay,
Lois Payne, Helen Vollintine, Wilma Priddle, Bernice Akeman, Charlotte Titsworth and three brothers; Kenneth Randle, Maurice Randle and Shirley Randle.
Charles worked construction for Labor Local #338 out of Wood River, Illinois having been a member since 1952 and retired in 1993. He enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques and attending auctions.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, November 5, 2019, 9:00 to 11:00 am at Litchfield Family Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, 700 South State Street Litchfield, Illinois.
Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento, Illinois.
Charles is survived by his wife, Frances Randle of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Brenda Lee Diveley of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Cindy Jane (Don) Williamson of Hillsboro, IL, son, James (Sara) Randle of Litchfield, IL, grandchildren; Jason Williamson, Joshua (Jessica) Schneck, Charlie (Shannon) Diveley, Roger (Bobbie) Diveley, Nathan (Jessica) Diveley, Ben (Trisha) Johnson, Haley (Chris) Glenn and Robin Randle, 17 great grandchildren, brother, Donald Randle of Olney, IL, sister-in-law Elaine Randle of Hillsboro, IL, sister-in-law Betty Edwards, son-in-law Leroy Kuhl and several nieces and nephews.
