Darlene Hull

Darlene A. Hull, 88, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 5:45 A.M. at the Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield, IL, where she had been a resident for six years.

She was born on December 13, 1930 in Quincy, IL, a daughter of the late Virgil and Ruth (Tank) Coulson.

Darlene married Laurence Hull on January 1, 1949 in Quincy, IL and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1978.

Darlene worked as a CNA in Quincy, Litchfield and Naples, FL., she owned and operated “Mom’s Shirt Shack” in Litchfield and a caregiver for the elderly and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Ladies Aid.

She is survived,

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter Cathy, grandsons, Matthew Hull, Philip Hull, Dan Gurley, great-grandson Jordan Hull, brother, Russell Coulson, aunt, Ginny Keck, daughter-in-law, Karen Hull, son-in-law, Louis Gurley.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield. Pastor Fred Kramer, minister of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, IL.
