Thinking of Dottie and her family this week..Not  a nicer person has crossed my path in life.  I,ve known her since 1962..We spent time together baking cakes and taking our kids to the park. We  made lunch for the kids in Dottie new microwave. She would put one hot dog in at a time, because the kids liked to watch their cook . She and her mom would stop by my home to see my roses and sit in the yard and watch our kids play. RIP My FRIEND..

To Paul and Family:

There are no words to describe the hurt in our hearts when we lose someone dear to us, but, know that we all send our prayers and we know what a loving and spiritual lady Dottie was. I am sure she and Fred are having quite a time together.

To everyone - words can't express how sorry I am for our loss and the hurt that you must be feeling.  Your mom is one of the sweetest, kindest and most loving people that I have had the privilege to know.  Most of you know that I quickly adopted her as my second mom while growing up with Rich and Steve and I was lucky to have had the chance to know her and be loved by her as well.  I know you are sad right now, but when you can step back from the pain, you will realize how fortunate you are to have her as a mom and as a friend.  Not many people have the opportunity to be raised by such loving and wonderful parents.  She touched thousands of lives through her wonderful personality and soul and yes, she will be missed, but her legacy will carry on forever through her family.  I love each of you and am fortunate to be "part of the family" because of your mom.  Be strong for each other.  Your mom was a real-life hero and deserves a celebration of her life.  I love you all.  Todd

I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Dottie, she was a great nurse and anyone that knew her , loved her.  I also got to cater 2 of her kids weddings.  Her and Paul raised some wonderful kids, I know all of you will miss her terribly, and you have been with her thru her battle.  She without doubt is in heaven and will always be in your hearts.  May God wrap his arms around you and give you peace.
