Jasper "Jake" Rovey

Jasper “Jake” Rovey, 69, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Sunday morning, August 6, 2017 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He was born on September 26, 1947 in Springfield, IL, a son of Amos & Betty (Van Huss) Rovey.

Mr. Rovey was a veteran of the United States Army.

Jake was a member of the South Side Baptist Church in Litchfield, IL and worked for Rovey Landscaping where he did mowing and landscaping.

Jake enjoyed life by spending it with family and friends, watching Westerns, cooking out and attending auctions.

Jake is survived by his mother, Betty Rovey of Litchfield

                                Jason (Rikhonda) Rovey of Washington DC.

                                Shannon (Jessica) Rovey of Litchfield, IL

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchifeld, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Burial will be in the Rovey Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Montgomery County Cancer Association.
