Shirley E (Kahl) Gasser

Shirley E. Gasser, 82, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Monday, December 11, at 11:43 P.M. at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield, IL.

She was born on July 25, 1935 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Eugene & Minnie (Schmidt) Kahl.

Shirley married Joseph “Ted” Gasser on May 26, 1954 in Litchfield, IL and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2011.

Shirley was a real estate agent for several years, working for Simpson Realty in Litchfield, IL. She also owned and operated her own appraisal company called Gasser Group in Litchfield. Shirley was a former member of the Zonta Club and the Red Hat Society in Litchfield. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Great-grandchildren,            Jordan, Elizabeth, Stratton & Arrabella Vancil, Jaya Terrell, Isabell & Olivia Gasser, Hunter & Arya Gasser, SkyAnn & Deztini Mahan

Brother,                                  Robert (Ruth) Kahl of Bourbonnais

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ted.
