Aaron's passion was his faith. He was a lifelong member of Litchfield Assembly of God where he served many years as a board member. He was very active at the church, volunteering to do any maintenance work that came up. He could be found in the back pew anytime the church doors were open. He spent the last few years attending St. Timothy United Methodist Church where his daughter and family attend. He was known to share his faith with everyone he came in contact with.
In his spare time, he loved camping, hunting, and enjoyed planting and tending to his large annual garden. He also was a jack of all trades and was always a busy-body, working until dark in his various sheds and garage. He built his home and was particularly proud of the complete renovation he did on his daughter and son-in-law's first home.
