Amel John Pesko

Amel John Pesko, 100 of Litchfield, IL,  passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Timber Creek Village in Litchfield, IL.  

Amel was born January 19, 1925, in Taylor Springs, IL, a son of John Andrew and Elizabeth Soffa Pesko. He graduated from Hillsboro High School with the class of 1943.  He married Frances Miller July 23, 1946. 

Amel was a laborer at the smelting company, ARCO in Hillsboro, IL.  

Amel was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse,  daughter, Dana Pesko, and three siblings. 

There are no services for Amel John Pesko. 

Burial will follow in St. Agnes, Hillsboro.

Amel is survived by his son, John (Carolyn) Pesko of Albuquerque, NM, grandchildren;  Dr. Bryan  Pesko, and Leslie Pesko, and three great grandchildren.
