Arlene V. (Schultze) Ulrich

Arlene V. Ulrich, 83, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 11:15 A.M. at the Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Hillsboro, IL

She was born on June 20, 1935 in Troy, IL, a daughter of the late Edwin Benjaman and Alice Esther (Williams) Schultze.

Arlene married Udell Edward Ulrich on February 12, 1955 in Troy, IL and he preceded her in death.

Arlene worked at Echlin/Dana in Litchfield, IL for 30 years and then went on to work at Wal-Mart in Litchfield for 10 more years.

She enjoyed baking, reading, and spending time at the lake. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by:

Children,    Karen (Norman) Kruse, Mark Ulrich, Guy (companion Pam Entrikin) Ulrich, Steve (Carol) Ulrich ALL of Litchfield,

Grandchildren,Jeannie (David) Brines of Trenton, IL, Ben (Jessica) Kruse of Mt. Olive, IL, Kelli (Gabe) Longo of Navarre, FL, Mandy (Donovan) Thompson of St. Louis, MO, Melissa (Tommy) Grosenheider of Litchfield, IL, Megan (Zac) Ervin of Galatia, IL

Great-grandchildren,  Katy, Delanie, Haiden, Kaylie, Keeley, Ryder, Adelyn, Reece, Emilie, Clay, Gracelyn, Jackson, Alison, Parker and Letty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Ronnie Schultze.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL, pastor Bob Marsh minister of Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Burial will be in the Edgewood Cemetery in Litchfield, IL. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
