Bernard Haab

Bernard F. Haab, 99, of Millerton, NY, passed away Friday morning, October 16, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL.

He was born on May 2, 1916 in Mineola, NY a son of Benjamin and Kathryn (Dolde) Haab.

Bernard married the former Myra Jane Smith on September 26, 1942 in Mineola, NY and she preceded him in death on December 26, 2010.

Mr. Haab was a dairy farmer for 35 years and later owned and operated a marina with his son, David in Salisbury, CT for 35 years until his retirement in 2012.

In his leisure time, Bernard enjoyed fishing and playing billiards. He enjoyed being around people and he loved working with his son.
