Charles E Stoneburner

Charles E. Stoneburner, Jr.,  82, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his residence in Litchfield, IL.

He was born on March 7, 1938, a son of the late Charles E. and Ruby (Sample) Stoneburner, Sr.

On June 22, 1957, Charles married the former Sheila M. Groves in Hernando, MS, she survives.

Over the years he was employed by Brown’s Shoe Factory in Litchfield and the Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He owned and operated Stoney’s Cab Company for several years before his retirement.

In his leisure time, Charles enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Baseball fan.

He is survived by his wife Sheila Stoneburner of Litchfield, IL

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, MaryEtta Sherman; grandson, Tyler Stoneburner; great grandchild, Paisley Stanley; 1 nephew.
