Cheryl I. (Short) Cox

Cheryl Inez Cox, 62, of Litchfield, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL.  

Cheryl was born March 3, 1962, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of George W. and Virginia Mae (Hicks) Short. Cheryl graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1980.  She married Charles "Chuck"  Cox, on July 12, 1997 in Litchfield, IL. 

Cheryl was a machine operator for Echlin Corp in Litchfield for 24 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren and the families dogs.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roy Means, brother, Butch Hadrath, and a nephew.

A Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday,October 18, 2024 at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.

Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Cox of Litchfield, IL, son, Robert L. Crow of Litchfield, IL, son, Zachary C. Cox of Litchfield, granddaughter, Sydney I. Crowe, granddaughter, Shelby L. Crowe, grandson, Liam R. Crowe, brother, Jack Means of Makinaw, IL, sister, Sondra Hadrath of Canada, sister, Georgia (Kevin) Phillips of Virden, IL, brother, George Short of Virginia, IL, several nieces and nephews.
