Cynthia “Cindy” Lea (Shaw) Baker, 57, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Saturday morning, November 28, 2015 at 10:35 A.M. at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield, IL.

Cindy was born on September 27, 1958 in Carrolton, IL, a daughter of Gerald E. & Leta (Tobias) Shaw.

Cindy completed 12 years of education and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree.

She started her working career at International Paper where she worked for 8 years and then she was a waitress for Diamonds Restaurant in Staunton and the Litchfield Country Club for 11 years.

Cindy was very spiritual, attending all churches in the area and even keeping her prayers in a daily journal. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her animals. She will always be remembered for helping those in need, being generous, and kind-hearted.

She married Donald “Donavon” W. Baker II on January 23, 2006 in Hillsboro, IL and he survives.

She is also survived by her children,

Tobias (Shannon) Dobrinich, Randy (Meegan) Dobrinich, Marci (David) Jacobs-Howard

Emily Jacobs, all of Litchfield.  13 grandchildren;  Siblings, Deleta (Ted) Kaliboda of St. Charles, MO, Geraldine (Sonney) Clevenger of Litchfield, Larry (Pat) Shaw of Hamel, David (Chris) Shaw of Edmund, OK

Darrell (Kay) Shaw of Hamel, Joetta (Mike) McMahon of Litchfield, Diane (Kevan) Summers of Hamel;

Sister-in-law, Rita Shaw of Litchfield; her in laws, Donald W. Baker of Litchfield, Delores Baker of Texas & sister, Diane Baker of Litchfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents & brother, Johnny Shaw

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 2, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL. The family suggests memorials to the Family, Montgomery County Cancer Association or PAWS care in Hillsboro, IL.
