Della (Wagner) Davidson

Della Davidson, 63, of Litchfield passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at her residence on Friday, April 4, 2014.  

Della was born on April 28, 1950, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Harry & Dorothy (Daniels) Wagner.

She married Louis Davidson on November 11, 1967 at Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Raymond, IL. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2007 after 40 years of marriage.

Della worked at Roller Derby  and Echland for 25 years, both in Litchfield. Della belonged to the Women of the Moose. In her leisure time, she loved to bake pies, play cards and spend time with her family and friends. She especially loved to dance.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Wagner.

She is survived by:

Her mother,                       Dorothy Wagner of Litchfield.

1 daughter,                        Rebecca (Robert) Barnes of Mooresville, N.C.

3 sons,                                Blaise Davidson of Litchfield

                                             Thad (Tonya) Davidson of Litchfield

Grandchildren,                  Zachary & Nathan Barnes, Tina (Dustin) Jones, Chance, Coy, Dolan, Dalton, Collin &    Brady Davidson

The family suggests memorials be directed to Montgomery County Cancer Association or Adopt-A-Pet Shelter in Benld.

There will be a celebration of Della's life for family and friends Friday, April 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Litchfield Moose Lodge.
