Dennis Keith Bergman, 72, of Litchfield IL, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 3:09 A.M. at the SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on March 16, 1949 in Carlinville, IL, a son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Shipp) Bergman.
Mr. Bergman was a Veteran of The United States Army having served during Vietnam.
He graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1967. He married the former Wendy Hall on July 22, 1972 at Union Avenue Christian Church in Litchfield, IL. She survives.
Dennis worked at Wikomi Manufacturing as a machinist and at True Weld as a certified Welder, both in Litchfield, IL.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Wendy Bergman of Litchfield IL, sons; Neil (Kimberly) Bergman of Litchfield, IL & Keith Bergman of Hillsboro, IL; 3 grandchildren, Kennedy Jean Bergman, Nicholas Hawley & Dylan Bergman; brothers, Dallas, Richard & Roger Bergman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Bergman; sisters, Elaine White & Sharon Heitzman.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
