Diane J. (Bailey) Odle

Diane J. Odle, 77, of Litchfield, IL, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at her home in Litchfield, IL.  

Diana was born March 4, 1947, in Hillsboro, IL, a daughter of Alva "Jack" and Bessie (Chumley) Bailey. Diana graduated from Hillsboro High School.  She married Larry on May 5, 1967, in  Gillespie, IL. 

She managed the VFW and the AmVet in Litchfield. She was a member of the Moose Club and AmVet. She liked to mushroom hunt. She enjoyed baking different cookies and cakes. She took care of many people and was a very charitable woman. Whenever there was a charity event she was always there helping out. Most of all she loved her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Barb Snyder, and brother, Jack Bailey, Jr.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Diana is survived by her husband, Larry G. Odle of Litchfield, IL, son, Bob (Elaine) Odle of Taylor Spring, IL, granddaughter, Shawna (Chris) Cayce, grandson, Brian (Jennifer) Hendricks, granddaughter, Amy Cline, great-grandchildren, Alexa, Camden, Andrew, Logan & Cole, sister, Sandy Rhodes of Irving, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews.
