Donna J. (Becker) Shreve

Donna J. (Becker) Shreve, 86, of Litchfield, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Hillsboro, IL.

Donna was born on August 7, 1939, in Edwardsville, IL, to the late LeRoy G. and Ila Ruth (Davis) Becker. She was a 1957 graduate of Litchfield High School, Litchfield, IL. During her lifetime, she worked as a secretary for an attorney in Hillsboro, IL, as a secretary at a lumberyard in Mokena, IL, at Jubelt’s in Mount Olive, IL, and Sierra in Litchfield, IL.  She enjoyed solving word search puzzles, taking Sunday drives with her sister, watching nature programs and the QVC shopping network.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia “Pat” Becker Denney and son-in-law, Jim McDonald.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie McDonald of Staunton, IL; son, Randy Shreve of Hillsboro, IL; two grandsons, Ryan (Rebakah) Streeb of Mount Olive, IL and John McDonald of Litchfield, IL; three great-grandchildren, Michael McDonald, and Philip and Eleanor Streeb; sister, Virginia (Bob) Klump of Hillsboro, IL; brother, Larry (Iva) Becker of Mackinaw, IL; sister, Bonnie Booher of Litchfield, IL; brother, Kim (Joni) Becker of Litchfield, IL; brother, Mark (Sandy) Becker of Fowler, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial will be held at a later date at Crabtree Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.  Memorials may be made to Crabtree Cemetery.
