Dorothea May “Dot” Grabow, 92, of Hillsboro, IL passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at 8:15 A.M. at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehab in Taylor Springs, IL.
She was born on June 17, 1928 in Janesville, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late John and Anne G. (O’Kelley) Sullivan.
She married Ed Grabow and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1992.
Dot graduated from Janesville High School in Wisconsin and relocated to the Hillsboro, IL area. She was a waitress and went on to own and operate Home Café in Hillsboro, IL. Dot had many friends who she enjoyed spending time with .
She is survived by her sons,
Steven (Carol) King of California, Brin (Margie) King of Aurora, IL, Dan (Barb) Englin of Rockford, IL, Greg Englin of Tampa, FL, Jeff Englin of Tampa, FL, Rick Englin of Springfield, IL, and Bruce Englin of Hillsboro, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Jack Sullivan.
Graveside services at Cress Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL will be held at a later date.
