Edward A. Schneck

Edward A (Beano) Schneck, 66, of Sorento, IL, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.  

Edward was born, on August 21, 1957, in Staunton, IL, a son of Edward Otto and Mossie Frost Schneck. He married Kathryn Speed in April 1988, in Hillsboro, IL. 

Ed worked for many years for Jakel's Factory in Highland, IL. He was also a self-employed farmer. He loved to take care of animals, go hunting and fishing, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.  His love for his farm and family was beyond measure.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edward Otto Schneck, and son, Butch Schneck. 

There will be no services.

Edward is survived by his mother, Mossie Schneck of Litchfield, IL, spouse, Kathryn Irene Schneck of Sorento, IL, son, Kenny (Monica) Miller of Ellisville, IL, son, Michael (Amy) McCoy of Troy, IL, daughter, Elizabeth (J.R.) Cabral of Xina, IL, daughter, Stephanie (Trace) Pasley of Staunton, IL, 11 grandchildren, sister, Sheila (Larry) File of Sorento, IL, sister, Kathy (Ron) Rusick of AZ, sister, Sandy (Charlie) Davis of Pinckneyville, IL, brother, David Schneck of Highland, IL, sister, Rita (lifelong partner Harry Senaldi) Schneck of Staunton, IL, several nieces and nephews.
