Ellen L. (Poggi) Flaim

Ellen L. Flaim, age 78, of Mt. Olive, Il passed away Thursday afternon, September 18, 2013 at the Carlinville Area Hospital.

Ellen was born December 12, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of John and Josephine (Gunkadi) Poggi.

Ellen married Ernest Flaim, he passed away June 23, 1998.  Ellen worked as a switchboard operator and later entered the medical field as a  CNA.  Her ashes will be

buried in Staunton Cemetery at a later date.

She is survived by; daughters; Patsy (Michael) Wicks of Chicago, IL, Carmella Sawicki of Mt Olive, IL, and Vivian (Gary) Burton of Brookston, IN, a son, Raymond Sawicki of Lisle, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Son James Sawicki, sisters: Iris Wisniewski, Glori Weber and brother Danny Poggi.
