Elsie Kahl, 93, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 9:05 P.M. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hillsboro, IL.
She was born on July 18, 1926 in Island Grove-Sangamon County, IL, the oldest of eleven children, a daughter of the late Ross and Leetha (Baker) Brown.
Elsie married Carl Gimlin and they later divorced, she then married Iva Titsworth who preceded her in death. Later she married Henry Kahl who also preceded her in death.
Elsie was a hard worker, starting her career at a young age as a waitress at Price Café in Litchfield, IL. She then went on to work at Brown Shoe Factory and Roller Derby, both in Litchfield, IL. Elise was a member of the Litchfield Christian Church and enjoyed cross-stitching and quilting when she was able.

Son-in-law William Currie of Litchfield, IL
Daughter-in-Law, Lynn Titsworth of Murphysboro, IL
4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, & 2 great-great grandchildren
4 brother & 1 sisters
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, Dean Titsworth, daughter, Mary Currie grandson, Gary Currie, 4 sisters and 1 brother.
The family of Elsie suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Litchfield Christian Church.
