Eugene Coon

Eugene A. Coon, 61, of Newark, IL passed away on Wednesday evening, January 15, 2014 at 10:30 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. Eugene was born on September 5, 1952 in Elgin, IL, a son of the late Eugene & Ethel (Polnow) Coon. Eugene graduated from LaFox High School and then went on to a technical school where he learned the art of plumbing. He was a plumber for Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, IL, where he recently retired. In his leisure time, Eugene loved to watch birds, specifically geese as they started to migrate for the winter months. He was fond of animals, especially wildlife.
