Frank Summers

Frank A. Summers, 89, of Springfield, IL passed away Wednesday evening, November 18, 2015, at his residence.

Frank was born, June 5, 1926 in Carlinville, Illinois, a son of Frank W. and Annabell (Franklin) Summers.

Frank graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1946. Frank proudly served in the Army during WWII. He married Doris "Nikki" Leefers, on May 17, 1947 at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ parsonage in Carlinville, IL. Frank retired from Fiat Allis in Springfield in 1986. Frank was a member of the West Side Christian Church, and St. Paul's Masonic Lodge #500 in Springfield. He loved to read, and travel.

Services will be held at a later date.

Adam (Mindy) Neal of Ft. Mill, SC, Micah (Ali) Summers of  Glen Carbon,IL, Rachel     (Michael) Wein of Frameingham, MA, Joe Neal of Ft. Mill, SC

6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson,

Sister,                                      Shirley Donelson of Mesa, AZ.

He was Loved by all of his family.
