Gene Moxley Obituary
Gene F Moxley, 91 of Hillsboro, Illinois passed away Friday evening, February 5, 2021, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation & Health Care in Hillsboro, IL.
Gene was born August 24, 1929, in Fergueson, MO, a son of Bower and Lucille (McCartherty) Moxley.
Gene proudly served his country in the Army and the Navy.
He married Mary (Norris), February 13, 1949, in Normandy, MO and she passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
Gene retired in 1964 as a cable installer for Perkins Construction in St. Louis, MO.
He loved to golf, listen to music and most of all his dogs and all other creatures.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings.
Private Family Graveside Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
Gene is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
