Geneva I (Osborn) Denton

Geneva I. Denton, 89, of Litchfield, IL passed away Friday morning, March 23, 2018 at 8:10 A.M. in her home.

She was born on April 17, 1928 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a daughter of Dewey & Edith (Gray) Osborn.

Geneva graduated from the Springfield High School with the class of 1946 and also attended the Harvard Park District Church in Springfield.

For several years, Geneva was a cook at Turtle Creek Nursing home in Litchfield, IL.

She collected cow figurines and her collection total in the thousands. She loved the outdoors and being able to do her yard work whenever she was able. Geneva also enjoyed watching NASCAR from her favorite reclining chair.

She is survived by her sons, Phil (Shirley) Green of Longview, WA, Ron (Diane) Green of Litchfield, Dave Green (fiancée Bobbi Schafer) of Litchfield & Dewey Green of Springfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

There are no services planned at this time.
