Helen D. Sies

85, of Litchfield passed away April 8, 2012 at her residence. Helen was born on April 8, 2012 in Litchfield, IL to Linda (Marburger) and Eugene R. Sies. She married Eugene R. Sies on November 27, 1947. They had four children Donna Sies of Ballwin, Mo, David Sies of Litchfield, Diane Fuchs of Litchfield, and Dales Sies of Litchfield. Helen Was a Secretery/ Bookkeeper and then a farmer and retired in 1996. She enjoyed the Flying Farmers,Farm Bureau, Home Extension, and the Ladies Aid Homemakers. 

Surviving are her Children: Donna Sies of Ballwin, Mo, David (Dolores) Sies of Litchfield, Diane (Douglas) Fuchs of Litchfield, and Dale Sies of Litchfield. Grandchildren: Dawn (Curt) Walch, Daniel (Beth) Sies, Adam (Leah) Fuchs, Heather Fuchs, Brian (Kiley) Fuchs, Austin Fuchs, Justin Sies, and Katie Sies, and seven Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 Tuesday April 10, 2012 and Services will be Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Elmwood Cemetery at Litchfield.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or School.
