Isabelle "Izzy" Serrano

51, of Bushnell NE, passed away on Monday afternoon, December 12, 2011 at her sisters residence in Litchfield.She was born on April 5, 1960 to William Pearl and Virginia (East) Giller in Highland, IL. She graduated from Gillespie High School with the class of 1978. In 1984, Izzy married Gerardo Serrano in Arkansas.Izzy worked as a manager of a cafe in Albin Wyoming.She was a member of the Albin Baptist Church and loved horses since her childhood. In her spare time she loved to be with her grandchildren and family.Izzy is survived by her husband Gerardo; 2 sons Jeremy Giller of Decatur and Shane Serrano wife Shina of Bushnell, NE; 3 grandchildren; mother Virginia Giller Lott of Litchfield; brother William Eugene Giller of Vandalia; 3 sisters Betty Louise Maguire of Carlinville, Cindy Dixon, husband Fred of Litchfield, Judith Kay Bartley, husband James of Wesley, AR and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, William Pearl Giller; brothers, Robert Pearl Giller and James Morris Giller.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Litchfield Family Funeral Service
700 South State Street, Litchfield, IL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Litchfield Family Funeral Service.Burial will take place in the Green Hill Cemetery in rural Van Burensburg.

Memorials are suggested to the J.D. Colt Grade School.
