James W. Leslie

James W. Leslie, 60, of Springfield, IL,  passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home in Springfield, IL.
  
James was born February 15, 1964, in Springfield, IL, a son of Freddie and Mary C.  Morrissey Leslie. He graduated from Chatham Glenwood High School with the class of 1982. 

James was employed by Wal Mart for ten years and worked in the maintenance department.  He was a collector of  knives and loved to ride his bike, go to the movies, and traveling. He was a big Cardinal baseball fan. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces, nephews, and great-nephew. He loved his family. 

James was preceded in death by his parents. 

There will be no services for James W. Leslie. 

James is survived by his sister, Marie Kreis of Litchfield, IL, niece, Melissa Kreis of Springfield, IL, niece, Jennifer Kreis of Springfield, IL, nephew, James Kreis of Litchfield, IL, nephew, Andrew Kreis of Litchfield, IL, and great-nephew, Jeremiah Kreis of Springfield, IL.
