John Alex Franklin

John Alex Franklin 46 of Litchfield passed away Wednesday July 13, 2016 in Nokomis Rehab and Healthcare at 5:00 p.m.

John the son of James Leroy Franklin and Linda Suits Franklin Snarr was born April 28, 1970 in Litchfield, Illinois.

John is survived by His mother Linda Snarr and her husband  Earl Snarr of Litchfield, brother Jim and wife Dana Franklin of Litchfield, step sister Allana and husband Jack Eaton of Joplin, Missouri, nieces Linetta Fetterman , Kayla Clelland, nephews Todd Eaton and Jimmy Franklin and several great nieces and nephews, also aunt Myrna Howe and best friend James Lankutis

John was a graduate of Litchfield schools. He enjoyed fishing, his cat Muffin, T.V. and Cardinals baseball.  He last worked at Coleman Salvage.

Funeral services will Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service with visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 Monday at the funeral home. Brother Ed Dively will officiate. Burial  will be in Crabtree Cemetery in rural Litchfield.
