Judith Hemken

Judith Ann Hemken, 68, of Litchfield passed away Tuesday evening, July 28, 2015 at 6:13 P.M. at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Hemken was born on May 5, 1947 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Clifford & Betty (Jarman) Fenton.

Judy married Leslie Jason Hemken on July 28, 1962 in Hillsboro, IL and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2015. Judy had previously worked for Roller Derby and retired from CPC Rexcel where she was a laborer. Judy spent her life raising her family and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to joke around and spend time shopping.

Judy is survived by daughters: Donna Hemken, Debbie Weatherford, & Darla Hemken all of Litchfield. Grandchildren: Heather and Brandon Fricke, Adam Burger, Danielle Ruffner, Nicholas Weatherford, and Aaron Bailey Great grandchildren: Jade Taylor, Alec Fricke, Lexi Bollman, Kaylee Hood, Chloe Hood, Evan Fricke & Mitch Ruffner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Jason Hemken.

Memorial services will be held Friday July 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Burial will be in the Crabtree Cemetery in rural Litchfield. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Rutledge Youth Center in Springfield, IL.
