Karen A. Kramer

Karen A. Kramer, formerly of Litchfield, IL, passed away at 2 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025. She was born on August 22, 1948 in Granite City, IL, the daughter of the late Oscar and Lucille (Schoen) Kramer.

She was a member of Cornerstone Church in Litchfield, IL. 

She enjoyed crafting and feeding ducks at Lake Lou Yaeger. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. She was also a member of Women of the Moose. 

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, James Lavalis, and sister Barbara Sue. 

Karen is survived two sisters, Sandra Szadai of Oreana, IL and  Janet Monaghan of Granite City, IL, four  nieces; Suzanne Szadai of Cerro Gordo, IL, Jo Ann Flowers and Stephanie Buckingham both of Granite City, IL, and Colleen Steinkoenig of Washington, MO; many great nieces and nephews.

In celebration of her life, a visitation will be held  on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, 700 South State Street, Litchfield, IL.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, Litchfield,IL  Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, 2901 Nameoki Rd, Granite City, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the  American Heart Association.
