LaMarr Ray Young

LaMarr Ray Young, 78, of Litchfield passed away Thursday evening on October 24, 2013 at 9:45 p.m. at Heritage Health Therapy & Senior Care in Litchfield. LaMarr was born on August 27, 1935 in Litchfield, IL, a son of Ralph and Marie (Peger) Young. LaMarr was a veteran, serving two years with the National Guard. Mr. Young was a roofer with Bay Circle Roofing for 20 years in California. After 20 years of employment Mr. Young was self-employed as a roofer until his retirement.  LaMarr was a lifetime member of The Litchfield Moose Lodge, VFW & Eagles all in Litchfield. LaMarr enjoyed reading, especially Westerns written by Louis L’Amour.

He is survived by: His daughter,  Debroah (Mark) Young-Tennant of Manteca, CA; Granddaughters, Krystel Hardin of SanAndreas, CA, Katie Hardin of of Salem, OR; Brothers, Ralph Young of Litchfield, IL,  Jimmy (Florence) Young of Litchfield, IL; Twin brother,  LaVerne Young of Litchfield, IL; Sisters,  Mary Ann Bukowatz of Orville, CA; 10 great-grandchildren; Several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Kaycee Henry 3 sisters; Frieda Nail, Claire Urban, & Eileen Eby; sister-in-law, Juanita Young; 2 brothers, Carl & Harold Young.
