Larry Bishop

Larry Bishop, 69, of Litchfield, IL passed away October 7 at 3:45 A.M. at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Larry was born on October 27, 1946, son of the late Lawrence and Eunice (Booher) Bishop.

He married Patty Lynne Wallis on April 22, 1972 and she survives after 44 years of marriage.

He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1965 and in 1967 joined the army and served in Germany.

After working for Boilermaker Local #363 for 30 years he retired in 1999.

Larry and his wife Patty loved traveling and spending time with the grandchildren. Larry also loved golfing and spending time with his many friends at the Moose Club in Litchfield. 

 In addition to his wife he is survived by his:

Son,                                      Craig (Billie Jo) Walch, Sr. of Raymond, IL

Grandson,                           Craig (Ty) Walch, Jr. of Hillsboro, IL

Granddaughters,               Kate Walch (Companion Trevor Viehweg) of Honey Bend, IL

                                              Kari Walch (fiancé Tony Dragoo) of Aurora, IL.

                                              And his dear sweet Addie Faye Walch

Sister,                                   Carol (Ron) Saxby of Litchfield, IL

Brothers,                              Charles (Barbara) Bishop of Litchfield, IL

                                               David Bishop of Litchfield, IL.

Several nieces and nephews.

Per Larry’s wishes there will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.  But all friends and family are invited to his memorial service on Wednesday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service and are invited to visitation, a meal and Celebration of Larry's Life at the Moose Lodge immediately following the memorial service.   Grandson Craig Walch, Jr. will officiate.

The family would like to invite their friends and family to the Moose Lodge immediately following the services for a luncheon provided by the Litchfield Moose Lodge.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Litchfield Veterans’ Memorial Garden Fund or the Moose Heart.
