Larry R. Greenwood

Larry R Greenwood, 58, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his home in Litchfield, IL.

Larry was born on April 14, 1961 in Litchfield, IL, a son of Eugene & Wanda (Heaton) Greenwood.

Larry graduated from Litchfield High School and after graduation he worked for the Gardens Restaurant for several years until its closing in

Larry enjoyed caring for his nieces and nephews and taking walks with the kids. Larry was always known to be on the front porch swing, and enjoying the day. His family said he was always the one to remember important dates including each of his nieces, nephews, and great nieces’ and nephews’ birthday.

He is survived by his mother Wanda Greenwood of Litchfield, IL and brothers, Lawrence Swofford of Taylor Springs, Donald Greenwood of Litchfield, IL and sister, Clara Grimm of Litchfield, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers, Mike Greenwood, Danny Greenwood, Gene Greenwood, Jr., Aunt Ethel and Uncles Charles Heaton.

Private family funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12 at the Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL.
