Lorene Lovell

Lorene Marie Lovell, 92, of Litchfield, IL, passed away May 6, 2016 at 11:39 P.M. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Lorene was born on August 19, 1923, a daughter of Ben C. & Anna (Gerhardt) Johnson.

Lorene married Joseph Lovell on May 10, 1957 at Concordia Lutheran Church  in Cottage Hills. He survives.

Mrs. Lovell enjoyed being a housewife and in her spare time she enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables, cooking, shopping and spending time in Florida with her family.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Litchfield.

Along with her husband, Joe, she is survived by:

Sons,                                      David (Norma) Heeren of Cottage Hills, IL

        Scott & Mark Lovell of Litchfield, IL

Daughters,                            Stephanie (companion, Kenny Mondhink) Lovell of Raymond, IL

        Diane (Walter) Frazier of Glen Carbon, IL

                                                Susan (William) Marshall of Brentwood, MO

Many grandchildren

Brother,                               Chris (Alice) Johnson of Nokomis, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Stephen Heeren, daughter, Denise Lovell & 10 brothers & sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 14, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Litchfield, IL. Pastor Kevin Cook will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield, IL. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Litchfield Food Pantry.

Litchfield Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
