Lorine Johnson

Lorine M. Johnson, 90, of Litchfield, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Evergreen Place in Litchfield, IL. She was born on September 19, 1924, in Waverly, IL, the only child of Ellis L. & Maude M. (Jackson) Stewart.

Lorine previously worked for Roller Derby in Litchfield, and then she retired from the State of Illinois, working in the Revenue Department. After her retirement from the state, she began working at the Medicine Shoppe in Litchfield as the bookkeeper where she retired for the second time.

She is survived by:

Her daughter,                                    Diana “Dee” (Ron) Lovejoy of Litchfield

Grandchildren,                                  Kim (Jassen) Stinnett of Gillespie

                                                             Ronald L. (Rosa) Lovejoy II of Yadkinville, NC

Great-grandchildren,                        Meghan & Matt Sillman & Emma Stinnett

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private Family Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 22, 2014  at 11:00 a.m. in Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Pastor William Engfehr, minister at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Burial will be in Waverly East Cemetery in Waverly, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be directed to the Zion Lutheran’s Ladies Aid.
