Marian Alberta (Cory) Browning

Marian Alberta (Cory) Browning, 86, of Litchfield, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at her son's home in Litchfield, IL, surrounded by her children.

 
Marian was born February 6, 1938, in Mt Carmel, IL, a daughter of Marion Thomas Cory and Opal Alberta Bain. Marian graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1953.  

Bert to those who knew her, moved to Anchorage Alaska in 1984 with her husband and daughter and mother. She worked at TDA for more than 20 years.

 She was in Professional Secretary's International. She retired and in 2010 moved back to her hometown of Litchfield. She loved to travel and be with family. You could always find her by her laugh. She LOVED to dance and most weekends in Anchorage you could find her dancing. She was a member of Faith Lutheran in Litchfield. She loved to garden and plant her flowers. 
Marian was preceded in death by her parents and step father Millard Gordon. 

Burial will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Vicki Elaine Brockmiller Deviny of Litchfield, IL, son, Steven Brett and (Kathi) Brockmiller of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Karen Lee Brockmiller Lebon of Knoxville, TN, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Browning of Litchfield, IL, step-sister, Alvera Cory of Vacouver, WA, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
