Mary Beth Burris

Mary Beth Burris, 65, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 6:38 A.M. at her residence.

She was born on December 10, 1954 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Charles William “Bud” & Florence June (Bishop) Wilson.

Mary attended Litchfield High School with the class of 1973 and was the director of Montgomery Place in Litchfield, IL for 31 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Women of the Moose, both in Litchfield.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Son,  Troy Burris of Cedar Rapids, IA

Grandchildren,  Zachary, Tatum, Tessa, Isaac and Zavier

Brothers, John (Beth) Wilson of Litchfield, IL, Dennis (Terra) Sexton of Litchfield, IL, Jim (Michelle) Wilson of Gillespie, IL, Chuck (Bonnie) Wilson of California

She was preceded in death by her parents and life-long companion, David Benning.

Private family graveside services will be held at Wares Grove Cemetery in Butler, IL. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family of Mary Beth, suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Women of the Moose in Litchfield.

The Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
