Mary Theresa (Komor) Lindsey

Mary Theresa Lindsey, 73 of Litchfield, IL, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation & Health Care in Hillsboro, IL.  

Mary was born March 12, 1951, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Frank C. and Sophie (Lasko) Komor.

Mary attended Litchfield Schools.  

She married William T. Beckham Sr. in September 1970 they were later divorced.

She then married Benton J. "Jim" Lindsey on May 11, 1990, in  Edwardsville IL. 

Mary loved thrifting and often found good sales and items at local yard sales. She liked playing the lottery, slots, and bingo was one of her favorite games. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Zachary Michael Hudzik, brother, Frank Komor, Jr, and brother-in-law, Harry Weller.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, 9:00 to 11:00 am at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, Litchfield, IL.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, Litchfield with pastor Nathan Diverly officiating and son Matt Beckham as the eulogist.

Burial will follow in Crabtree Cemetery, Litchfield, IL.

Mary is survived by her husband, Benton J. "Jim" Lindsey of Hillsboro, IL, daughter, Sheila (Chuck) Wall, Mt. Olive, IL, son, William (Cindy) Beckham, Jr. of Litchfield, IL, son, Matthew (Tracy) Beckham of Litchfield, IL, and daughter, Jamie Lindsey of Litchfield, IL, seven grandchildren; granddaughter, Katie Hargis, granddaughter, Kelsey (Dylan) Zippay, granddaughter, Tessa Beckham, grandson, Billy Beckham, grandson, Mason Beckham, granddaughter, Eliza Beckham, and granddaughter, Eden Beckham, four great grandchildren, sister, Shirley (Joe) Arnott of Alexandria, VA, brother, Jim (Maryann) Komor of Litchfield, IL, sister, Patty Weller of Litchfield, IL, sister, Rose Marie Komor of Litchfield, IL, sister, Nancy (Rick) Striplin of Bremen, KY, brother, Robert (Vicki) Komor of Litchfield, IL, and, sister-in-law, Jan Komor of Litchfield, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews.
