Pamela Ann (Arnett) Voyles

Pamela Ann (Arnett) Voyles, 76 of Litchfield, IL, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL.  

Pamela was born November 18, 1948, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Jack and Dorothy Funk Arnett. Pamela graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1966. She attended Western Illinois University and then Marguerite Scott School of Cosmetology.  She married Wilton Simmons, Jr. and they had two children together but they would  later divorce.  She would then marry Rollo Voyles who preceded her in death in 2008. 

Pam worked in a beauty salon with her mother and sister before opening her own, "Headquarters Beauty Salon" for many years on State Street in downtown Litchfield. She made her customers feel beautiful, which she loved doing every day. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She was very active in city politics and was the mayor of White City for several years. Pam loved spending time with family and friends. She loved having a fun time and making people laugh. She was always telling stories, and her laugh was contagious to the room. She often sang, played the organ, and would yodel to embarrass her family. Pam enjoyed being a farmer's wife along with gardening and her flowers while married to Rollo.She was an avid Chicago Cub's Fan, and she always lived life to its fullest. She will be forever missed. 

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rollo Voyles.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, 5 - 7 pm at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, 700 South State St, Litchfield, IL.

Burial will take place at a later date in Chapman Cemetery, Mt. Olive, IL.

Pamela is survived by her son, Andy (Dimarys) Simmons of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Amy Simmons of Litchfield, IL, son-in-law Ron Jett of Litchfield, IL, granddaughter, Stephanie Edwards of Litchfield, IL, granddaughter, Heather Jett of Litchfield, IL, great-grandchildren, Leah, Nevaeh, Charlie, Gabriela, Emely, ans Dimarys, sister, Bonnie  Wegener of Litchfield, IL, brother, Jack (Sheila) Arnett, Jr. of Bokchito, OK, and nephew, Craig Langen.
