Patricia Dianne Taylor, 75, of Litchfield, was welcomed home peacefully on Thursday morning, April 23, 2026 in her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on January 14, 1951, a daughter of the late Harry & Helen (Wolfe) Kean.
She married Leonard McKinley Taylor, III on March 3, 1967 in Hillsboro, IL. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2017.
Patricia, lovingly known as Dianne, spent her life in the Good Ole Days, staying home supporting her husband, and raising their three children: Bradley, Lisa and Lori. In her younger years she enjoyed skating at the local roller rink and dancing. Later, she found joy in going out to eat and having a margarita or two, and never turned down an Slow Gin Fizz, if made the right way. If you were to drive by, you could always count on her outside, sitting on the porch, enjoying her flowers and humming birds. Her late nephew, Tony, gave her the nickname Eagle Eye, always keeping neighborhood watch and never missing a thing.
She is survived her children: Lori (Ron) Roach of Litchfield, IL and Lisa (Ken) Cress of Litchfield, IL.
Grandchildren: Justin (Maricela) Taylor, Brandon & Luke Taylor; Misti (Adam) Meisenheimer; Hayden (Victoria Connell) Roach & Kelsey (Caleb) Gibson.
Great-grandchildren: Wesley Reed, McKensey, Gabriella, & Madisyn Gibson; Cameron & Mallory Meisenheimer
Brother, Chris "Mike" (companion, Tammy) Kean
Several nieces and nephews
Dear Friend, Connie Giller
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny; son, Bradley Taylor; grandson, Jarod Cress; brothers, Ray & Ronnie Kean; sister, Paula Birkenkamp.
Litchield Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held in Elm Lawn Memorial Cemetery Litchfield, IL, at a later date.
