Robert Bain

Robert “Bob” Bain, 56, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at 9:50 PM at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Carlinville, IL.

He was born on January 21, 1961 in Litchfield, IL, a son of Wayne & Eleanor (Konneker) Bain.

Bob married the former Gina Brutti and she survives.

Mr. Bain was as Veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Korea.

Bob was a maintenance technician at Alpine in Litchfield, IL for many years.

Bob graduated from Litchfield High School and went on to obtain a technical degree.

He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, being outdoors, doing home renovation, and collecting coins.

He was preceded in death by his father in March of 2000.

A public visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL. There will be no service. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
