Roger F. Young

Roger F. Young, 65 of Litchfield, Illinois passed away Friday afternoon, August 1, 2025, at his residence.

Roger was born November 6, 1959, in Litchfield, IL, a son of Harold "Harry" and Mary "Ivy"Young. 

Roger graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1977.

 Roger enjoyed camping, fishing, and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.  He loved to spend  time outdoors, either camping or just out in his garage with the doors open on 
nice days watching sports of any kind.  He especially enjoyed watching whatever food program had the tastiest looking stuff on display.

He is preceded in death by his father Harry. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 2pm at the Firemen Clubhouse, 4 Marine Lane, Litchfield, IL.

Roger is survived by his mother, Mary Young of Litchfield, IL, son, Jason Young of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Skylar (Coady) Bell of Athens, IL, granddaughters, Sage Bell and another to be born in November, brother, Scott Young of Litchfield, IL, sister, Jean (Marty) Large of De Soto, MO, sister, Debra (Brian) Detmer of Bartelso, IL and several nieces and nephews.
