Samantha Louise England

Samantha Louise England, 37, of Litchfield, IL passed away on April 17, 2014 at 11:42 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

She was born on May 27, 1976 in Bossier City, Louisiana, the daughter of Msgt. Charles and Norma Carlsen.

Samantha was a Certified Nurses Aid in Litchfield. She also worked at Bailey and Associates, Honey Bend Resort, and Wendy’s in Litchfield.

Samantha grew up in Germany. She loved ceramics, horses, her family, and loved to travel. She also played soccer. Samantha was close to her brother.

Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew & Louise Steward of Carlinville, IL, her uncle James Steward of Litchfield, IL and grandparents, John and Melva Carlsen of Cedar Rapids, IA.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Norma Carlsen of Litchfield

Two children,                    Andrea England and Damian England, both of Litchfield;

brother,                              James Sexton (Leigh Gilmore , Finacee) of Auburn, IL

sister,                                  Christina (John) Ervin of Dover, DE

several nieces, nephews, and a great niece and great nephew.

Funeral Services will be held Monday April 21, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Pastor Mike Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Her family suggests memorials be directed to the family of Samantha England, c/o Norma Carlsen.
