Shaun William Morgan

Shaun William Morgan, 35, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at his residence in Litchfield, IL.

He was born on June 30, 1987, a son of David and Ann (Thacker) Morgan.

Shaun graduated with high honors from Litchfield High School with the class of 2005. He then attended Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL . While there, he was a part of the wrestling team. He also worked at the College  of the Deaf.

On August 8th, 2007, he entered the United States Army, serving with the Infantry Rifle Co B FC. Shaun earned several medals. He served 1 term in Iraq, and was honorably discharged on October 20, 2010. While serving in the military he met and married his wife Chenrith Manuel Alargarbes on August 27, 2009 in Kansas. She survives.

After leaving the military he went on to SIUE from 2012-2015, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and an Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science.

Shaun is survived by his parents, David & Ann Morgan of Carlinville, IL

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pat Thacker and his paternal grandparents, Don and Diane Morgan.

A time for family and friends to pay respects to Shaun has been set for Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield, IL. Per his family’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
