Shirley Mae (Grewe) Davis

Shirley Mae Patricia Davis, 89 of Litchfield, ILpassed away Thursday morning, September 5, 2024, at her residence.  

Shirley was born January 12, 1935, in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of John and Myrtle Marie Stillford Grewe. 

She married Raymond A. Davis in Chicago, IL in 1954.

Shirley was a homemaker raising her sons in Chicago, IL.  After moving to Litchfield, she was active in running the Moose kitchen and helping with Bingo.

She enjoyed her flowers and lawn work, keeping her home looking pristine.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Jade Davis and brother, John Grewe. 

There will be no visitation.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL.

Shirley is survived by her sons, George (Deborah) Davis of Springfield, IL and John (Jamie) Davis of Merrillville, IN, a granddaughter, Amber, 2 great grandchildren; Abbey and Miklo and brother, David (Ellen) Grewe of St. Peters, MO.
