Suzanne "Sue" W. (Liggett) Oller

Suzanne "Sue" Wilton Oller, 75 of Litchfield, IL passed away Friday afternoon, March 27, 2026, at Litchfield Health and Rehab Center in Litchfield, IL.  

Sue was born January 23, 1951, in Washington, DC, a daughter of William Liggett and Mary Lou (Grady) Liggett, she graduated from Bladensburg High School and continued her education to become a Medical Secretary in Hagerstown, MD.  She married Melvin L.Oller on December 30, 1971, in Upper Malboro, MD and they had 5 children. 

Sue started her career as a medical secretary for Prince George's County and then with the National Institute of Health in Maryland in the Leukemia ward.  Finally, she worked with the Army and Air Force through the Department of Defense, retiring in 2002.  Sue enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques, and was a foodie.  She loved to try new and interesting cuisine.  She loved her family dearly and will be missed by many.   

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 3:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. at the Litchfield Moose Lodge 1634, 221 N. Madison St., Litchfield, IL 62056.

 
Sue is survived by her husband, Melvin L. Oller of Litchfield, IL, son, Eric (Leanne) Oller of Troy, IL, son, Chad (Carla) Oller of Collinsville, IL, son, Kyle (Shelly) Oller of Troy, IL, daughter, Jessica (Todd) Brock of Maryville, IL, and son, Ryan (Jessica) Oller of Imperial, MO.  Grandchildren Jack, Charlie, Kayla, Jake, Sam, Amelia, Cameron, Caitlyn, Alexis, Ellee, three great grandchildren, brother, William (Merill) Liggett, and several nieces and nephews.
