Velma J. Conlon, 92, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:10 A.M. at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield, IL.
She was born on December 19, 1927 in Mt. Olive, IL, a daughter of Benjamin and Antonia (Korunka) Danneman. Her father passed away at a young age, and her mother then remarried Earl Hagerman, Sr.
Velma graduated from Mt. Olive High School with the class of 1945 and worked for various factories in Litchfield, IL, including Brown Shoe Factory and Roller Derby and retired in the early 80s. She then went on to operate a family business called Mr. Video.
In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren even great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Conlon & Nancy (Michael) Houlihan, both of Litchfield, IL.

Stephanie (Dustin) Slusser-Krefft, Bradlee (fiancé Brianna McBride) Slusser

She was preceded in death by her parents & step-father; daughter, Peggy Rimmel; brothers, Fred Danneman & Earl Hagerman, Jr.; grandchildren, Charles W. Rimmel, Jr. and Debra Rimmel in infancy; great-grandson, Deacon Krefft.
A private graveside service will be held Wednesday at the Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield, IL. Pastor Rudy Elam will officiate.
