Virginia L. Giller, 95, of Litchfield, IL, formerly of Standard City passed away Saturday morning March 21, 2015 at 8:05 A.M. at Heritage Manor in Litchfield, IL.

Virginia was born on January 8, 1920, in Gillespie, IL, a daughter of Thomas E. and Eva (Smith) East.

Virginia was a homemaker.

She married William P. Giller on January 17, 1935 in Gillespie and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1977. She then married Lloyd Lott on August 25, 1978 and he also preceded her in death.

Virginia is survived by:

Daughters,                          Betty L. Maguire of Carlinville

                                                Cindy Dixon of Litchfield

                                                Judy Bartley of Arkansas

32 grandchildren

Several great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren

One brother and one sister

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Giller and Lloyd Lott, sons, William E. Giller, Robert P. Giller, James Morris Giller, and daughter Isabelle E. Serrano.,  son-in-laws, Fred Dixon and Jim Bartley, 7 grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 12 noon at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Pastor Dale Jones, Associate Minister of Worship & Connection at First Baptist Church in Litchfield. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Van Burensberg. The family suggests memorials to the Montgomery County Cancer Association or to the family of Virginia.
