Vivian Francis Odle, 91, of Litchfield, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:14 P.M. at her residence.
Vivian was born on November 20, 1926 in Chatham, IL, a daughter of John Herbert and Nova (Keen) Miller.
She married Vernon Odle on October 28, 1944 in St. Louis, MO, and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1995.
Vivian graduated from Sacred Heart Griffin High School in Springfield, IL
Vivian was the matriarch of the Odle family, and always had a listening ear to those in need. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending large family gatherings. She also played cards on Saturday nights.
Vivian was also a Gold Star Mother, a title given to her when her son, John Charles, was Killed in Action in Vietnam in March of 1969.

Daughter, Linda (Robert) Schwehr
Sister, Connie (Robert) Johnson of Springfield
16 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, James Leroy and John Charles Odle, daughter, Susan Suhling, brothers, Raymond, William, and Richard Miller, and sister, Mary Joan Grafton.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield, IL.
