Wanda Greenwood

Wanda Greenwood, 85 of Litchfield, IL passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Wanda was born July 16, 1937, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Richard and Thelma Heaton. She married Eugene Greenwood and he has passed away. Wanda had worked as a CNA for several of the area nursing homes and loved her job. She enjoyed helping people and working on community projects. Her favorite pass time was spending time at Jubelt's visiting with friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and children; Eugene Jr., Michael, Donald, Robert, Larry Greenwood, brothers; Glenn and Charles Heaton and sister Deloris Kahle. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Clara Grinn of Litchfield, IL, son, Donald Greenwood of Litchfield, IL, son, Lawrence (Heidi) Swofford of Taylor Springs, IL, 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great grandchild.
